Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting materials, operating hand tools, and operating heavy machinery under supervision
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction activities including framing, concrete pouring, and site preparation
- Maintain clean and organized job sites by removing debris and ensuring safety compliance
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project requirements and specifications
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and OSHA regulations at all times
- Operate construction equipment such as jackhammers, saws, and drills with proper certification
- Assist in material handling, loading/unloading trucks, and inventory management
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction labor experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (training provided if needed)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality for weekend shifts
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Ability to work collaboratively in diverse team environments
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
