Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including excavation, demolition, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Assist skilled tradesmen with carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Maintain clean and organized job sites while adhering to OSHA safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints to execute construction plans accurately
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Complete daily progress reports and quality checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or equivalent physical work background
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in all weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Basic math skills for material measurements and calculations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team
- Flexible schedule availability for weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 6AM-4PM)
