Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand tools
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction site preparation and cleanup
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a hazard-free work environment
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Transport materials and equipment using carts, dollies, or manual lifting
- Assist in setting up and breaking down job site scaffolding and temporary structures
- Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Must be physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds and working in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours daily in varied weather
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Tucson metro
- Willingness to submit to pre-employment background check
- No prior experience necessary - training provided
