Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions for accurate construction work
- Maintain clean and organized job sites according to safety protocols
- Assist skilled tradesmen with preparation and finishing tasks
- Participate in daily safety briefings and equipment inspections
- Transport materials to designated areas using appropriate equipment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Reliable transportation to job sites
