Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material installation
- Maintain clean, organized job sites following OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Perform concrete finishing, framing, and basic masonry work
- Transport materials using forklifts and other heavy equipment (certification provided)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Experience with power tools or construction highly valued
