Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties on residential and commercial construction sites, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.
- Assist with site preparation, including clearing debris, grading, and cleaning work areas.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure job site.
- Load and unload construction materials and tools from delivery trucks.
- Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors to ensure project milestones are met.
- Perform basic measurements and calculations as required for specific tasks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety practices.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Team-oriented mindset with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
