Responsibilities
- Execute general labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) with precision and safety
- Assist skilled tradespeople in carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with OSHA regulations
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications accurately
- Transport materials safely using forklifts or manual methods
- Participate in daily team briefings and safety meetings
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in physically demanding conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
