Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) with proper safety protocols
- Assist carpenters and masons with material assembly and installation
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following OSHA standards
- Inspect and maintain tools/equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Adhere to project blueprints and construction specifications
- Participate in daily safety briefings and hazard mitigation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of power tools and construction equipment
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Experience with concrete work, scaffolding, or demolition preferred
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and at heights
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
