Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Handle and transport construction materials using proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradespeople with framing, concrete work, and installation tasks
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and job site cleanliness
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor or related trade experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform strenuous physical tasks
- Basic knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and construction equipment
- Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality required
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong work ethic with focus on safety and quality
