Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand tools (hammers, saws, drills) and light machinery (concrete mixers, jackhammers)
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks and read basic blueprints
- Load/unload materials and equipment safely using proper lifting techniques
- Complete daily time logs and report equipment maintenance needs
- Participate in pre-job briefings and safety training sessions
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Basic math skills for material measurements and inventory tracking
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with consistent attendance
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided if not certified)
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily on uneven terrain
