Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and effectively (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions for accurate task execution
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Perform general cleanup and debris removal to maintain safety standards
- Assist in setting up and breaking down temporary structures/barricades
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work in outdoor environments (heat, dust, noise)
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Strong work ethic and punctuality (6 AM start times)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily on uneven terrain
- Team-oriented attitude with clear communication skills
