Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with site preparation and cleanup
- Follow safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance at all times
- Read basic blueprints and project specifications for task execution
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Operate machinery like forklifts and excavators with proper certification
- Report hazards and maintain organized work zones
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training provided)
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with concrete, framing, or demolition a plus
- Team-oriented communication skills
