Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and equipment operation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and site-specific regulations
- Assist skilled tradesmen with preparation, installation, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools and heavy machinery with proper training
- Maintain clean and organized job sites throughout work shifts
- Complete daily progress reports and time documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or related labor experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous physical tasks
- Reliable transportation to job sites within NYC metro area
- Basic understanding of construction terminology and blueprints
- Flexible schedule availability including early mornings and weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
