Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, framing, and finishing
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery safely and efficiently
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) as needed
- Inspect materials and equipment for quality compliance
- Complete daily progress reports and documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on construction experience
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Proficient with hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and at heights
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Background check and drug-free workplace compliance
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
