Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, equipment setup, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervision (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Perform cleanup duties including debris removal, waste sorting, and site restoration
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and safety protocols
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company guidelines
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours daily
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold)
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Must have own basic work boots and weather-appropriate attire
- Team player with strong communication skills
