Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material installation
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions precisely
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs) and work in all weather conditions
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour construction certification required
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and reliability
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily in demanding environments
- Willingness to obtain additional trade-specific certifications
