Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site efficiently and safely.
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground as directed.
- Equipment Support: Operate hand and power tools under supervision to assist in building, demolition, or repair tasks.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA regulations.
- Trade Assistance: Assist carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople with their daily tasks.
- Quality Control: Help ensure that work meets quality standards and project specifications.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction labor, landscaping, or general handyman work is preferred but not required.
- Driver's License: Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are highly desirable.
- Communication: Strong ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
