Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely and effectively per OSHA standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Follow detailed blueprints and supervisor instructions precisely
- Maintain organized, hazard-free work areas throughout shifts
- Participate in daily safety briefings and incident reporting
- Complete basic concrete finishing and framing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Must be punctual with consistent attendance record
- Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends
