Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy machinery (bobcats, forklifts) safely
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and installation
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and project specifications
- Maintain organized job sites and perform daily equipment inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Report progress and material requirements to site supervisors
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of construction labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Reliable transportation to Mesa job sites
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to work in variable weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
