Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials (up to 75 lbs), and operating hand/power tools
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with site preparation and cleanup
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Operate machinery like forklifts, jackhammers, and concrete saws (with certification)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Complete daily timesheets and safety checklists accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic math skills for measuring and material calculations
- Ability to work outdoors in extreme Arizona temperatures
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- High school diploma or equivalent required
