Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and debris removal
- Assist carpenters with material handling and equipment operation
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and follow supervisor instructions for task completion
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently
- Perform concrete finishing, framing support, and finish work
- Participate in daily safety briefings and hazard prevention
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Physical stamina for 8-10 hour shifts with frequent bending/kneeling
- Experience with hand/power tools and construction equipment
- Strong teamwork ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
