Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with physical tasks and material handling
- Operate basic equipment like jackhammers, concrete mixers, and power tools under supervision
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work environments
- Read blueprints and project specifications to understand task requirements
- Load/unload construction materials and transport them to designated areas
- Perform minor demolition work and assist with site cleanup and waste disposal
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards and OSHA guidelines
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with minimal absenteeism
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work collaboratively in teams
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required – we train motivated candidates
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
