Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties on construction sites, including loading, unloading, and preparing materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks such as carpentry, masonry, and concrete finishing.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all OSHA safety regulations.
- Operate and maintain basic construction equipment and power tools under supervision.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and project specifications.
- Transport materials and tools to and from the work site efficiently.
- Assist in site preparation, including excavation, grading, and debris removal.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Previous construction experience is a plus but not required.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols.
