Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Perform general labor tasks including excavation, demolition, and debris removal
- Collaborate with skilled trades professionals on complex builds
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction or heavy labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
