Responsibilities
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery safely and efficiently.
- Perform site preparation, including digging, cleaning, and leveling surfaces.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and site regulations strictly.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
- Transport materials from storage to the active work area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic reading and math skills for measuring and following blueprints.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is a plus.
