Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack building materials at job sites efficiently and safely.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment and power tools under the supervision of experienced foremen.
- Support Tasks: Perform general cleanup duties to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with skilled tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and to specification.
- Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and perform manual labor for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, hardworking, and dependable for scheduled shifts.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal instructions from supervisors.
- Equipment Familiarity: Willingness to learn how to operate basic construction tools and machinery.
