Responsibilities
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment onto and off of trucks, trailers, and work sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, and masons) with daily tasks and project requirements.
- Perform basic site cleanup, including removing debris, trash, and hazardous materials.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and correctly under supervision.
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations at all times.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials as directed by site supervisors.
- Keep work areas organized and safe for fellow employees.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat and rain.
- Basic math skills for reading measurements and measuring tapes.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety and quality.
- Valid driver's license is a plus but not required.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
