Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from delivery trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery (e.g., forklifts, compressors) after training.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe by removing debris and hazards.
- Measure, cut, and prepare materials according to blueprints and instructions.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, hauling, and lifting heavy objects.
Qualifications
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting 50+ lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Basic math skills for measuring and material estimation.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow direct instructions.
