Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading, unloading, and staging of construction materials and tools.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Perform site cleanup duties, including removing debris and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA guidelines to prevent accidents.
- Support skilled tradespeople with tasks such as digging, lifting, and concrete finishing.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project plans when required.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices is a plus but not required.
