Job Overview:
As a Construction Laborer, you will play a crucial role in the success of our projects. You will work closely with our skilled trades team to ensure that every job site is safe, organized, and completed to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, and HVAC) with daily tasks and operations.
- Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and supplies.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground.
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Measure, cut, and handle raw materials (wood, concrete, metal) with precision.
- Perform physical labor including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy loads (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Steel-toed boots are required; work boots provided after 90 days of employment.
- No prior experience necessary; we value a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow safety protocols.
