Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including digging, loading/unloading materials, and operating hand/power tools
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) with project execution
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, adhering to OSHA safety standards
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate construction implementation
- Operate light machinery (saws, drills, jackhammers) with proper certification
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
- Participate in site preparation and cleanup activities
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction labor experience or equivalent vocational training
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Background check and drug test required
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
