Responsibilities
- Excavate, lift, and transport construction materials safely
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Prepare sites by clearing debris and setting up scaffolding
- Maintain clean, organized work areas following OSHA standards
- Assist skilled tradespersons (carpenters, masons, electricians)
- Complete daily safety inspections and incident reports
- Adhere to project timelines and blueprints
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months construction labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
