Responsibilities
- Assist skilled trades with material handling and equipment operation
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, digging, and carrying
- Maintain clean and organized work areas throughout construction phases
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision (drills, saws, etc.)
- Complete daily progress reports and time tracking documentation
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Basic understanding of construction terminology and site procedures
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (will train if unqualified)
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork mentality
