Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction machinery and tools (under supervision) such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and jackhammers.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Trade Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons, as needed.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents and ensure efficiency.
Qualifications
- No Experience Required: Previous construction experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and demonstrate a strong work ethic and reliability.
- Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Tools: Willingness to provide your own basic safety gear (boots, gloves) or access to a rental.
