Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks on active construction sites, including loading, unloading, and transporting materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, and laborers) with various project tasks and setups.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following all OSHA safety regulations and site protocols.
- Prepare construction sites by digging, leveling, and clearing debris.
- Measure, cut, and shape materials according to blueprints and project instructions.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for long shifts.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and on uneven terrain.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols is a plus but not required.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well within a team structure.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
