Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in clearing and preparing construction sites, including debris removal and grading.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from job sites.
- Tool Operation: Operate basic construction tools and machinery under supervision to support skilled trades.
- General Labor: Perform various manual tasks as directed, such as digging, mixing concrete, or assisting with framing.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols to maintain a secure work environment.
- Site Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure efficient workflow.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work a full-time schedule, including weekends if necessary.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions effectively.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but not required for enthusiastic candidates.
- Attitude: A strong work ethic and a positive attitude are essential for this role.
