Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, carrying heavy materials, and assisting with demolition.
- Operate basic construction equipment and tools such as wheelbarrows, forklifts, and power saws.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Load and unload construction materials from trucks and transport them to the work area.
- Follow blueprints and instructions from foremen and site supervisors.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily operations.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) frequently throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat and rain.
- Basic understanding of construction safety procedures and the use of PPE.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Ability to pass a background check and a post-offer drug screening.
