Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties on construction sites, including digging, shoveling, and hauling materials.
- Load and unload building materials, tools, and equipment using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with daily tasks.
- Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards in compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Operate basic construction tools and machinery under supervision.
- Measure, cut, and fit materials as directed.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleanup.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.
- Strong work ethic and ability to follow instructions.
- Valid Driver’s License is a plus.
