Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) with proper safety protocols
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, masons, electricians) on active construction sites
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with OSHA regulations
- Read blueprints and follow construction plans with precision
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance reports
- Participate in team safety briefings and quality control checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction or labor experience preferred
- Valid O-10 certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Basic hand/power tool proficiency and blueprint reading skills
- Strong teamwork ethic and punctuality record
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license required
