Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in clearing, digging, and preparing construction sites for projects.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment as directed by supervisors.
- General Labor: Perform various manual tasks including carrying, lifting, and moving heavy objects safely.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools (e.g., jackhammers, saws) under supervision.
- Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris and waste regularly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Crew Support: Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks as needed to keep projects on schedule.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods.
- Lifting Ability: Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
