Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely and effectively (training provided)
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and debris removal as needed
- Support concrete work, framing, and finishing tasks under supervision
- Complete daily timecards and safety documentation accurately
Qualifications
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- Reliable transportation to job sites across NYC
- Willingness to submit to background check and drug screening
- Team player with strong work ethic and punctuality
- No prior experience necessary – training provided
- Basic math skills for measurement and material estimation
- Commitment to safety and following site protocols
