Responsibilities
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting materials, and site cleanup
- Operate hand tools (shovels, hammers, etc.) and light machinery under supervision
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material preparation and project setup
- Maintain a safe, organized worksite following OSHA guidelines
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Complete daily progress reports and maintain project cleanliness
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we train!
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred (not mandatory)
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Detroit metro area
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Basic math skills for material measurements
