As a Laborer, you will play a crucial role in the success of our projects, assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring that job sites are efficient, organized, and safe. We offer competitive wages, comprehensive benefits, and a culture that values hard work and dedication.
Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Assist carpenters, electricians, and other skilled tradespeople with daily tasks and project execution.
- Operate power tools and heavy machinery, such as saws, drills, forklifts, and compressors, safely and efficiently.
- Perform site preparation, including excavation, cleaning, debris removal, and concrete pouring assistance.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a secure working environment for yourself and your team.
- Signal equipment operators to facilitate the alignment and movement of materials.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free job site at all times.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform manual labor.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards and general construction procedures.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well as part of a collaborative team.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site daily.
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school background is a plus.
