Responsibilities
- Site Support: Assist project managers and lead carpenters with daily site operations and task execution.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA safety standards.
- Demolition & Prep: Perform light demolition, excavation, and site preparation duties as required.
- Quality Control: Assist in ensuring work meets project specifications and quality control standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but not required for enthusiastic applicants.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs), stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- License: Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Safety Conscious: Familiarity with basic construction safety protocols and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Availability: Reliable attendance and availability to work full-time hours, including weekends or overtime when needed.
