As a Laborer, you will play a crucial role in the foundation of our projects, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on every site.
Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation, including clearing, loading, and unloading materials.
- Machinery Operation: Operate heavy machinery and tools such as forklifts, jackhammers, and concrete mixers under supervision.
- Material Handling: Transport and organize construction materials, ensuring the site remains clutter-free and safe.
- Assisting Trades: Support journeyman electricians, plumbers, and carpenters with various tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies, wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and organized work environment by removing debris and waste regularly.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing on concrete.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and punctuality are essential for our team culture.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors clearly.
- Tools: Willingness to provide basic personal hand tools (hammer, tape measure, etc.) or use company-issued equipment.
