Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including excavation, concrete pouring, and structural assembly
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts, jackhammers) with precision
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized job sites
- Read blueprints and technical schematics for accurate project execution
- Collaborate with skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers)
- Inspect materials for quality compliance and report discrepancies
- Complete daily progress reports and maintain project documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience
- OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification required
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic blueprint reading and measurement proficiency
- Strong mechanical aptitude and equipment operation skills
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends for project deadlines
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
