Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare construction sites, including debris removal, excavation, and leveling.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assisting Trades: Provide critical support to carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by performing manual labor tasks.
- Formwork & Concrete: Assist in setting forms for concrete pouring and ensuring proper curing.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision.
- Documentation: Complete daily logs and report any safety hazards or equipment issues to supervisors.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1+ years of experience in construction labor, general labor, or a related trade is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and perform heavy manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Safety Knowledge: Basic understanding of construction site safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Tools: Familiarity with hand tools (hammers, saws, levels) and power tools is a plus.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Valid Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Background: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
