Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and trenching
- Load/unload construction materials and operate power tools safely
- Assist skilled tradesmen with carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Maintain clean job sites by debris removal and equipment organization
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Operate light machinery like jackhammers and compactors under supervision
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours daily
- Basic hand/power tool proficiency with willingness to learn
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to work in extreme desert weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
