Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and directing traffic
- Load/unload materials and operate hand/power tools (hammers, saws, drills)
- Assist skilled tradespersons with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Follow strict OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean work areas
- Read blueprints and interpret project specifications
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience or relevant trade school certification
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Texas driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic math skills for material measurements and calculations
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
