Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, marking areas, and ensuring the workspace is safe and accessible.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Assist Tradespeople: Provide hands-on support to carpenters, electricians, and plumbers as directed by the site supervisor.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning up spills and securing tools after use.
- Measurements & Cutting: Measure and cut materials to specified dimensions using hand and power tools.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a hazard-free environment.
Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform heavy manual labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous construction labor experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to show up on time and ready to work every day.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation to and from the job site.
- Communication: Basic ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
